NIMI performing "Here is a Nation" by Matt Sedillo
3,14 LIVE
At the opening of Brian Maguire and Merritt Johnson the street artist NIMI read the poem Here is a Nation by Matt Sedillo. The highly political poem guides the audience through a history of how the USA murdered, colonized and raped its way to becoming the superpower of today. NIMI is known for its tactile murals of people and abstract mood pictures in the cityscape of Bergen. He was born in South Africa, grew up in London, and now lives in Bergen.
