Thai & Talk is a public event and part of a project titled 'It´s Personal, part III' (kunsthall314.art/it-s-personal)

Ww bring together eight artists from Thailand and Norway to collaborate on personal issues, through the language of performance art.

Thai & Talk look at differences and common grounds between cultures.

And we wish to bring artists and audience together to share a meal and conversations. 

In Thai and Norwegian culture, making food and eating together is an important focal point. Food tends to create a natural forum for social interaction, sharing of thoughts and skills.

The artists will introduce themselves, share thoughts and reflections about their experiences during their journeys, using the opportunity to reflect upon ‘Its Personal part I & II’ which took place in Thailand (2016) and in Norway (2017).

 

“It’s Personal” hope that the involvement of the audience will allow the idea of personal issues to evolve and develop. Together with Kunsthall 3.14, we try to facilitate a safe and casual atmosphere this Thursday evening. Se full program below.

 

The program will contain:

Eating and talking together, performance art, some videos, and photos from It´s Personals previous projects, Thai dancing and decorative carving of food.

Time: 19:00 - 21.00

 

Thai & Talk is also part of Performance Art Bergen's International Performance Art Week 09 - 16 September 2018.
